Tip #13: Read Elana Johnson’s Building a Better Blog Series
Two years ago, Young Adult writer Elana Johnson started blogging with little success. Today, Elana’s blog gets an average of 200 site visitors per day and she has over 1,500 subscribers.
What’s her secret? Well, visit her blog and she’ll tell you.
I’ve received some emails from people that say things like, “I can only hope to get my blog to where yours is someday.”
And I’m here to say: wrong!
I didn’t hope for this and then one day it came true. Like most things in life, it took a freaking lotta work. So dispel that myth that I haven’t done anything to increase my readership.
~Elana Johnson, How to Build Your Blog
In Building a Better Blog, Elana covers starting a blog, growing your readership and maintaining your success. The posts are to the point and packed full of useful information. Any blogger, from the uninitiated to the regular, will get something out of Elana’s Building a Better Blog series.
Are you a writer considering starting a blog? Do you have a new blog you’d like to promote? I’d love to hear about it!
