Contest Update: Literary Storm Deadline Extended

Posted by bridgid on | November 23, 2009 | No Comments |

WordHustler.com, the online writing community and submission service we reviewed here, recently extended their Literary Storm Novel Contest deadline. The original contest deadline was November 20th, 2009, and it was extended to January 25th, 2010. The contest requires the first fifty pages of your unpublished novel and a ten dollar submission fee for entry. You must join WordHustler (free to join) in order to enter. Click here for the contest guidelines.

All submissions will be reviewed by literary agent Danielle Chiotti (of Upstart Crow Literary), and the winner will get a full manuscript critique by Joyce Sweeney. If that isn’t enough to sway you, the top ten manuscripts will be sent to indie publishing house Flatmancrooked for review.

The Literary Storm Contest is the perfect opportunity for unpublished writers, and could be a great way to gain some exposure. With the deadline extension, you have a full month to polish and submit the first fifty pages of your manuscript.

So, what are you waiting for?
